I went to Fort Jackson in January of for basic training and graduated in April of the same year as a Specialist. My first duty station was th Quarter Master Company. I consider myself to be a dedicated and highly skilled Automated Logistical Specialist serving in the United States Army since December of I have demonstrated exceptional proficiency in managing and supervising warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient handling and distribution of critical supplies and equipment.

Though my military career is short, I have been responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, utilizing advanced automated systems to streamline logistical processes. While supporting this mission, I developed strategies for procuring goods and services at the most cost effective prices, conducted research to identify new potential suppliers based on quality, price, availability, reliability and serviceability criteria, ensured compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies and procedures related to procurement activities, and managed relationships with key suppliers by regularly communicating updates about pricing changes or new products.

Also, demonstrated proficiency in the construction of a variety of storage solutions, such as bins, shelving units, and other storage aids, utilizing practical knowledge and creative problem solving skills to optimize space utilization and enhance organizational efficiency. I played a pivotal role in streamlining and standardizing the collection and utilization of maintenance data, implementing innovative approaches and leveraging technological tools to enhance data accuracy, accessibility, and usability for informed decision-making and performance improvement initiatives.

I enlisted in the United States Army in June of Prior to enlisting in the Army I had no intent at all becoming an Apache Maintainer, for I was going to get my degree in Pediatric Nursing. I grew up with having two paths I could always take, my mom being the angel in scrubs taking care of such wonderful people and my father a grease monkey who was in the garage more than the house.

I started to dream and start applying to schools, but soon realized I would put myself and my mother in debt. I started speaking to a recruiter once doing research on the opportunities the Army can provide. At first I was very hard set on me becoming a 68C, until I attended an air show and absolutely fell in love with the idea of working on those and not trucks anymore.

I then evaluated with my recruiter my line scores and determined that I scored exceptional well in mechanics. So I decided to take the opportunity that was at hand, and make the most of it. I enlisted as a 15R. Upon arrival, I was assigned to Delta Company's Maintenance platoon, where my knowledge and experience with the aircraft rapidly expanded.

While AIT provided me with the basics of the Apache, it was my hands-on experience at my first unit that truly allowed me to learn. Despite making mistakes within my first few months, I had outstanding supervisors who patiently guided me. During my 13 months in Delta Maintenance Platoon, I contributed to numerous , hour inspections, as well as a hour phase inspection, gaining valuable knowledge.

In November of , I was transferred to Bravo Company. This was my first experience in a line company. I was fortunate to have two exceptional platoon sergeants who mentored me throughout my time there. Each day, no matter the size of the task, I knew I would be guided and taught right. After finally being assigned an aircraft before leaving for a field rotation, I felt a surge of pride, further fueling my commitment to my work.

I always admired the aircraft, but now that it's my name that will be known for aircraft and that my pilots will feel safe. That is why I love my job. He attended Ramstein high school in Germany and graduated from Eisenhower high school Macomb, Michigan. He is married to his wife Madison Craft.

As the eldest of three siblings, Salvatore pursued his dreams with relentless determination. His journey began at Rondout Valley High School and Boces Trade School, where he not only excelled academically but also dominated on the basketball court and raced on the track and field. He left his mark by securing the 5th position out of 30 participants.

After 25 weeks of training, he graduated, and his journey took an exhilarating turn as he was sent to Suwon, South Korea. Operating within Bravo Battery, he skillfully maintained seamless connections for 8 launchers, the Battery Command Post, and the Engagement Control Station. In addition to his core duties, he proudly served the roles of Comsec Manager and battery representative, standing at the forefront of the mission's success.
